Hello! Welcome to my portfolio. I'm Ane Marcussen Erézué, Danish illustrator and writer based in Luxembourg. I write poems, children's stories, articles and portraits. I illustrate for all ages and create poetic paper artworks. You can see all of that if you scroll a bit further. Enjoy!

Water

Water, water, water

Deep, angry, beautiful water

Blue, icy, cascading water

Clean, swimming, liquid water

Cold, wavy, bubbly water

Hot, boiling, evaporating water

Water, water, water

At home in love

Carrying my roots as the train of a dress

Lost and full of wonder

Like a beach pebble laid on the forest floor

Amongst humus, fairies and storms

Spinning at intermittent crossroads

With chatter from distant languages

I close the gate to my little fortress

A silhouette against a yellow curtain

A flash of a green plush fish

A clay figurine made from tiny hands

Words whispered in a warm breath

Intangible objects floating through time

Placed like breadcrumbs

Leading me into the unknown

To a new fragility

I feel at home in love

Waves

 I measure life in waves.
Some calm and quiet like lullabies,
Some insisting and pushing for my attention,
Some come by surprise, make me fall and flow along,
Some massive, frightening and invasive like never ending nightmares.
In constant movement, in constant change, I live by the rhythm of waves.

A specK of light

through time

I am

A speck of light

Floating

Aimlessly through time

I am

And that’s enough

I am days

Years gone and coming

A speck of light

Through time

I am

And that’s enough

Sweet dreams, Dreamy Doodle

Close your eyes, I'll sing you a tune
Of places that hold you through the night
Sweet dreams, dreamy doodle, see you soon,
I'm with you always, sleep tight

Winter haikus

One.
Thousand frosty bells

Playing in the howling wind

The winteress’ tune

Two.

Heavy walking boots

Covered in dark humid soil

The warm winter womb

Nature tickles all my senses,
Makes me feel like me,
Laugh and shine, a human sun,
Joyful, round and free
